Chef Jamie Tiampo is an active partner at dell’anima restaurant in New York City, a house photographer with the James Beard Foundation, and an instructor at the City University of New York, Kingsborough Community College. He has a Master’s degree in Food Studies from New York University, a Grand Diplôme in Classic Culinary Arts from the French Culinary Institute, and a Restaurant Management Diploma from The Institute for Culinary Education. His photographs have appeared in Wine & Spirits magazine, Gambero Rosso, at the James Beard Greenhouse Gallery, and at the French Culinary Institute, with an exhibit from the Southern Food and Beverage Museum. He has published a paper on Sous Vide cooking, as well as two books, ‘Autumn Eats,’ and ‘Adventures in Eating.’
